'Sacrificed' superbug NHS chief Rose Gibb wins 190,000 damages - Telegraph: "Rose Gibb, the former head of the NHS trust at the centre Britain’s worst hospital superbug outbreak has won more than 190,000 damages after a court ruled that she had been treated as a scapegoat."

Why not? She's saved the county a lot of pension payments?

A single state pension costs about 140,000 pounds. Mind you, Shipman went better, 600+ plus at some estimates, and the NHS hadn't got a clue.
